Mappings Import
The mappings import will associate or "link up" your products to the actual vehicles.
You can associate products with existing Makes/Models/Trims/Years while adding new Makes/Models/Trims/Years that are encountered in your spreadsheet. This is the way to go to get everything loaded in one easy click.

Definitions Import
The definitions import is the way you load your "list" of vehicles into the system. This will make the vehicles available for selection in the admin panel.

If you are just starting out or do not yet have your own vehicle database, it is no problem. The extension comes pre-loaded right out of the box with a comprehensive pack of data. It doesn't matter if you want make/model/year, or you want the "engine" or "trim" we can do it too. We have data for USA, Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, and currently expanding... If you have your own database of makes models and years to use, it will only take you minutes to import the tables. For everyone else you can edit the available makes models and years right from the admin control panel. The interface allows you to add new makes, edit & delete existing Makes/Models/Years.
Data Insight
When creating your spreadsheet it can be difficult and aggravating to try to go back and forth, finding out which ones you already added, or why the "totals" didn't add up. That is why we created the data insight, which clearly tells you about what is happening during the import process. You will see:
- Exactly how many of each level (make, model & year) were Added.
- Exactly how many vehicle <- -> product "mappings" were Skipped
- Exactly why they were skipped.
With these capabilities we hope you will no longer resort to leaving your automotive catalog up to "guess work" ever again!
Power Users
You can lookup the primary id for each vehicle and associate them to skus to programmatically generate spreadsheets, useful for 3rd party integration.
